Our Story
First Breeding Program
We established our first horse breeding program in Colorado circa 1982. This program included a 1981 AQHA glittery gold Palomino by the name of Driftin Joker Dial, a.k.a. “Drifter.” Drifter was an integral part of a long-time buckskin/palomino breeding program. During his lifetime, he sired many foals who were unique for their color.
During our days with that horse breeding program, we were mixing bloodline families of both running blood and performance blood, which was not very common back then. We achieved many special “nicks” and found that approach rewarding, even though we were thinking outside the box. Drifter, as well as his offspring who have since “crossed the rainbow bridge,” will fondly be remembered.

Favor’s Debut
In 2012, we experienced a life-changing event when ARC ONLY ONE TIME entered the picture. Favor made his debut in Ft. Worth, TX, during the 2012 NCHA Futurity event. While competitors were in the arenas showing their horses, the public was stopping by to meet the red roan stallion Favor for the first time during Super Stallion Saturday. Prior to that day, Favor was kind of the mystery horse waiting to make his arrival. He very graciously greeted and dazzled the crowds. Looking back, it was an important moment in history.
Favor became part of a subconscious lifelong dream that was about to unfold. Having been involved with registered quarter horses since 1977 and having been involved with our own breeding establishment since 1983, the future was about to take a dramatic turn for greatness.

Favor’s Legacy as a Stud Horse
Although the proposed show career of ARC ONLY ONE TIME was cut short by circumstances, his legacy lives on 12 years later through his progeny from 11 foal crops. His offspring will go out and do what their daddy didn’t have a chance to do. Currently, he has descendants either showing or getting ready to enter the show pen in NRCHA, NCHA, and Roping. As a stud horse, Favor has sired very talented and athletic offspring that have received good feedback from trainers. We are excited to see this day finally come. It’s been a long road ahead to get to this point.
We know that One Time Pepto, the sire of Favor, has contributed significantly to his siring abilities, as well as prominent ancestors in his pedigree. With all of this that Favor has going for him, we expect and look forward to more consistent individuals performing in the future. Isn’t it time to take a look at and include ARC ONLY ONE TIME in your upcoming breeding decision?
